During STL Startup Week, TechSTL and StartupSTL hosted one of the most anticipated private events in the region’s innovation calendar: the 2nd Annual #CapTableDinner. The evening brought together 25 of the fastest-growing startups in the St. Louis Metro and a highly curated network of venture capital investors, angels, and seasoned CEOs.
The goal was intentional and simple: put the right founders and the right capital in the right room, and make space for real, honest, strategic conversations. There were no pitches. No presentations. No formal program. Just founders and funders breaking bread at small tables and talking openly about growth, capital, and opportunity.
A Stunning Backdrop for Capital Conversations
The dinner was hosted at Husch Blackwell, whose support extended far beyond offering a breathtaking space. A longtime supporter of TechSTL, several of the Husch Blackwell Intellectual Property and commercial legal experts were in the room throughout the evening, speaking directly with founders about patent strategy, technology transfer, corporate structure, and how to protect and commercialize new technologies.
For high-growth startups, these conversations are often the difference between a good idea and a fundable, scalable company. Having IP attorneys available, not in a conference room or a webinar, but over dinner, helped founders navigate questions that normally take months to book time and answers for.
Dinner was prepared by the St. Louis favorite Adjo Honsou, owner of FUFU n’ Sauce, whose West African culinary talent created the perfect atmosphere for connection. As one of the 25 Startups, Adjo’s food set the tone for St. Louis opportunity, and the room carried the conversations.
The event also brought together the TechSTL Board of Directors and the full StartupSTL Advisory Team, signaling how aligned the region’s innovation leaders have become around one shared goal: grow companies here, fund companies here, and scale companies here.

This dinner marks a broader shift happening in St. Louis: we are becoming a region defined by IP creation, emerging technology commercialization, customer acquisition, and startup velocity.
The 25 companies in the room are building the next layer of our tech-powered economy. They represent artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, fintech, digital health, cybersecurity, climate tech, direct to consumer, geospatial analytics, consumer products, and advanced manufacturing. Throughout the night, we saw new conversations begin; term sheets discussed, partnerships explored, follow-up meetings set before dessert hit the table.
What’s Next for St. Louis Startups?
Over the past two years, TechSTL has been working with partners to lay the groundwork for the StartupSTL initiative, thanks to five grants from the Missouri Technology Corporation. Significant announcements are coming related to StartupSTL’s future capital and commercialization initiatives, including new programs and leaders. We are investing in an ecosystem where talent, capital, research, IP, and corporate opportunity converge, without requiring founders to leave the region to scale.

The process manufacturing’s reliance on static, disconnected files is a critical failure point. We are the “Figma for Manufacturing”. Block Club: Block Club helps people who live and stay in city districts find great local places by offering weekly deals. Apartments and hotels offer a perks program that their residents and guests love. Businesses get more nearby customers who could potentially turn into repeat customers. Every deal is tracked with a special deal code, so everyone sees what works.
Cheryl’s Herbs Group: Cheryl’s Herbs combine traditional herbal expertise with modern manufacturing innovation, offering scalable production, traceable sourcing, and formulation support for partners in wellness, beauty, beverage, and nutraceutical markets. Our focus on quality, transparency, and sustainable growth positions Cheryl’s Herbs as a trusted U.S. producer ready for national expansion.
Drop Tine Gear Company: Drop Tine Gear Company is an online consumer brand specializing in outdoor gear for sportsmen. The flagship product is a premium boot dryer that has dual-use functionality, outperforms, extends the life of your gear, all in a unique lodge-chic aesthetic.
FUFU n’ Sauce: Fufu n’ Sauce is a West African culinary brand rooted in cultural connection and community impact. We’ve grown from intimate pop-ups and food truck activations to a brick-and-mortar restaurant with national media recognition. Our next phase is scaling through franchise-ready storefronts and consumer packaged goods, expanding access to African cuisine while building economic opportunity across communities.
Hypno Loops Inc: Hypno Loops is the first neuroscience-based brain-training app using personal voice recordings and patent-pending looping technology to retrain brain habits, reduce stress, and boost performance. Backed by Arch Grants and Missouri Tech Corp, we’re supported by a Washington University Professor of Neurology and a Clinical Psychologist validating our approach.
Imperium AI: Imperium AI builds both the machines and the minds for serious on-prem legal intelligence. Victor AI runs on our own immersion-cooled clusters, sold near cost because we care about dominance, not margin. We’re not chasing rounds or exits, we’re proving that American engineering can still outthink the world.
King of the Curve (KOTC): King of the Curve (KOTC) is an AI-powered platform where educators, students, and learners can upload lectures, slides, or notes and instantly transform them into adaptive study experiences. The platform generates explainer videos, podcasts, visuals, and AI-driven Qbanks, while predictive analytics personalize performance insights for both classroom learning and high-stakes exams like the MCAT, NCLEX, and USMLE.
Levitt Logic: Levitt Logic is a technology focused real estate fund serving private investors. We measure data from local government bodies to find undervalued and developing areas backed by government investment. Levitt Logic produces steady dividends and tax breaks for LPs.
Lux & Nyx: Discover Lux & Nyx, luxury handbags, totes, backpacks, and accessories designed for style, function, and everyday versatility. Shop for timelines designs perfect for work, travel, and life on the go. We’re arming a rising generation of women with the products, stories, and inspirations they need to kick ass daily.
Mellow & Me: Mellow and Me is an AI mood-tracking platform that supports parents/caregivers of autistic and neurodivergent children. We provide 24/7 support through personalized insights, custom routines and an AI companion that gives unlimited evidence-backed solutions for each child.
Muia Materials: Muia Materials is an early-stage advanced manufacturing company that is key to fixing the stressed and sometimes underutilized electric grid. We utilize secondary aluminum and increase electrical and thermal conductivity through a patented process which we will leverage from national labs in the United States.
nCase Tech: nCase Technologies blends industrial design and public health to make life-saving medicine portable and stigma-free. Our flagship product, NALOX-1, is a patent-pending keychain case that enables discreet naloxone (Narcan) carriage by overcoming the barriers that cause 80% of people to not carry it with them. We’re redefining how essential medicines are carried – starting with overdose prevention.
NeuroFore: Parkinson’s disease affects over 10 million people worldwide and is currently diagnosed only during the late motor stages. NeuroFore has developed a patent pending machine learning algorithm that analyzes early-stage non-motor symptoms to detect and diagnose Parkinson’s disease (PD) earlier than has ever been possible. This is important as early PD detection enables early intervention with physical exercises that have been shown to delay motor onset—improving patient quality of life—by 2.5+ years and save patients and insurers up to $125k per patient, per year.
Phoenix Biomedical: For prosthetic users, even a small repair can mean weeks of immobility and high costs due to insurance coverage limitations. To alleviate this problem, Phoenix has created a prosthetic designed with plug and play parts paired with a subscription-based service model that includes telehealth consultations to enable patients to repair their own prosthetic. This innovation provides greater stability for prosthetic users by eliminating insurance obstacles, thereby improving fit and comfort.
Raknida: Raknida is an arttech platform transforming how people experience and access art by connecting global businesses and art lovers to diverse works from underrepresented artists. We support primarily digital and digitized art for scalability. Through our art print marketplace and upcoming smart frame and art streaming service, we empower artists to earn sustainably while making art discovery seamless and immersive for buyers.
Remvia: Remvia is a medical device startup creating the first soft-tissue-based solution for treating nocturnal bruxism. Traditional night guards protect teeth but don’t stop clenching or grinding. Remvia’s device interrupts the behavior itself—offering a clinically grounded, non-invasive, and scalable alternative to outdated treatments. We’re launching through providers first, building toward hybrid and OTC access.
SCRIPID, LLC: SCRIPID is a mobile on-demand delivery service that supports the community who face challenges getting to the pharmacy, or drug store, by bringing health and wellness products straight to their doorstep.
SweetSpot Diabetes Care, Inc.: SweetSpot combines a centralized software platform for managing diabetes device data, such as data from CGMs and insulin pumps, with wrap-around clinical support services. SweetSpot’s virtual team of Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (CDCES) perform monthly CGM data reviews and coordinate with providers and patients to facilitate treatment plan changes. By actively managing and remotely reviewing CGM data between patient visits, we ensure patients receive timely treatment adjustments to improve glycemic control and patient outcomes.
SugarBot Sweet Shop: SugarBot Sweet Shop & Creamery, specializes in nostalgic, high quality baked goods, confections, and ice cream while helping folks break down systemic barriers, gain meaningful employment, and earn a living wage. We believe that by creating the highest quality baked goods, confections, and ice cream you’ll find in the greater St. Louis area, hand-made by a population that is traditionally deemed as un-employable, we can showcase the untapped potential of our demographic and create change from the ground up.
TimeBolt.io: For people who talk for a living and can’t afford boring, TimeBolt is rapid video editing software. Turn raw footage into watchable content faster than you record. TimeBolt combines hybrid waveform silence detection plus optional AI filler removal—with 4K screen capture and Banger sharing into one local desktop app for MAC and WIN.
